What does Jordan Manufacturing do and how can we help you find your footing in a great career?

We are a factory. Sometimes it’s loud. Sometimes it’s dirty. But we help make the things that make the world move. We have four core values:

  4. Continual Improvement: We always want to get better. We don’t settle for “that’s the way we’ve always done it.” But we are smart and scale the improvement mountain one sure foot at a time.

How do you get started in the skilled trades?

If you work at Jordan Manufacturing and are thinking about skilled trades, we will handle the process for you, working with you to identify your needs and partnering with local schools to get you the education and credentials to help you build a career that will raise your family, put a roof over your head, and a weekend on which to relax.

If the part is an assembly that uses a custom fastener or molding or some other component whose price is already negotiated on your end, please let us know. 

If your company has its own global dimensioning standards, please forward them. We can sign an NDA if needed.

Models and prints are best, as we say in our video, but we can always get started with half a package if speed is important to you. Usually we can land within 10% of the final tool price with one or the other.

How can you get experience if nobody will hire you with no experience?

Experience is great, but it can be overrated. We look for people who are a good cultural fit. If you’re kind, empathetic, and willing to learn; we will get you the experience. Many members of our management team started out as machine operators. From production, you can move into quality, maintenance, tooling, material handling, purchasing and receiving, or accounting. If you want to try something, we’ll help. If you decide it’s not for you, we’re fine with that too! 

Now imagine corrosion requirements, be they on a spring or any other metal part. If your part has specific requirements we can look at the best possible combination of materials and outside processes to help you achieve that. Depending on the application, we can put together a manufactured solution that makes both engineers and accountants happy.
